This 2016 report, published by the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce, describes how the recovery from the Great Recession of 2007–2009 has primarily benefited workers with at least some postsecondary education. However, the majority of jobs that were lost in this recession were those of workers with a high school diploma or less, and these workers have recovered only 1 percent of those job losses.
