Note that our room numbers (167, for example) do not mean we're on the 1st floor. Our full room numbers all begin with 04, indicating that we are on the 4th floor.

By public transportation:
Subway: Take the Red Line to the JFK/UMass station. A free shuttle bus will carry you between the station and the campus.
Commuter Rail: Take the commuter rail to the JFK/UMass station from the South Shore on the Middleboro and Plymouth lines. Catch the free shuttle bus at the station.
Bus: Kenmore Square stop (service all day): the Number 8 bus; the last one leaves the campus at 1 AM. Forest Hills stop (rush hour only): the Number 16.

By car:
Parking fees: $6 per single use. $3 for up to 60 minutes in the Short-term Lot.
From the North:
Take Interstate 93 South through Boston to Exit 15 (JFK Library/South Boston/Dorchester) and follow the University of Massachusetts signs along Columbia Road and Morrissey Boulevard to the campus.

From the South:
Take Interstate 93 North to Exit 14 (JFK Library/Morrissey Boulevard) and follow Morrisey Boulevard north to the campus.

From Rt. 290 East:
Take Exit 16 take a right onto Central Street at the bottom of the ramp and follow the directions below.

From Rt. 290 West:
Take a left onto Central Street at bottom of ramp and follow the directions below.

Stay straight on Central Street. At the third set of lights, turn left onto Commercial Street. Go straight through first set of lights. Take first left into the parking garage.* Proceed to Level 5 and the skywalk entrance to CitySquare takes you directly to our front door.

Hourly rates apply for all parking garages. If there is an event at the DCU Center, please bring your ticket into the Center with you and we can stamp it so that the normal rates will be applied – not the event rates.

* There are two other garages located in succession down the street. If you park in these other garages, you must exit to the street and walk around the block to enter (see walking directions.)

Walking:
Walk to courtyard entrance on Commercial Street at Foothills Theater, enter by Subway shop, and proceed up escalator to second floor. QCC Training & Education Center is at top of escalator.

Alternative Parking Options:
Metered parking is available at the Worcester Public Library Main Branch on Salem Street (2 blocks south) or on the surrounding streets of downtown Worcester CitySquare (Commercial Street, Pearl Street, Foster Street, and Exchange Street.) There are also outside parking lots on Exchange Street for one-rate parking.

From Boston or East of Rt. 495:
Massachusetts Turnpike to Rt. 495 North to Rt. 290 west to Rt. 190 North to Exit 1 (West Boylston Street). North 1 Mile to campus (on right).

From Springfield or West:
Massachusetts Turnpike to Rt. 290 East to Rt. 190 North ‡ mile to Exit 1 (West Boylston Street). North 1 mile to campus (on right).

From Lowell or North:
Rt. 495 to Rt. 2 West to Rt. 190 South to Exit 4 (West Boylston Street). South 1‡ miles to campus.

By Public Transportation:
Public Transportation is available within the City of Worcester. Visitors can travel to campus using either the West Boylston Street or Burncoat Street routes.

From Route 495 north or south:
Take Exit 41 (Route 28) toward Lawrence. Follow Route 28 north for 2.4 miles. Turn right on Lowell Street. Proceed to Amesbury Street (3 blocks), turn right on Amesbury Street. The first entrance on the right is the college parking lot.

From Route 93 north or south:
Take Exit 46 (Route 110). Proceed on Route 110 (which becomes Haverhill Street) toward Lawrence. Cross Route 28 (Broadway), proceed to the the 3rd traffic light. Turn right onto Amesbury Street. After the first set of lights, turn right. The college parking lot entrance will be the first turn on the right. Additional parking is available in the Buckley Garage across from the campus.

From New Bedford and points east:
Take I-195 west to route 24 north to exit 5 to President Avenue. Follow green signs halfway around rotary. Turn right at first light onto Elsbree Street. The campus is about 1/2 mile on the right. Our building, L, is in the "back-center" of the campus. Parking Lot 12 is the one closest to our building.
Approximate travel time: 20 minutes

From Providence and points west:
Take I-195 east through Fall River to route 24 north. Follow route 24 north to exit 5 to President Avenue. Follow green signs halfway around rotary. Turn right at first light onto Elsbree Street. The campus is about 1/2 mile on the right. Follow parking directions as above.
Approximate travel time: 25 minutes

From Boston and points north:
Take route 128 to route 24 south to exit 5. Follow green signs halfway around rotary to President Avenue. Turn right at first light onto Elsbree Street. The campus is about 1/2 mile on the right. Follow parking directions as above.

From Newport and points south:
Take route 138 north to route 24 north to exit 5. Follow green signs around rotary to President Avenue. Turn right at first light onto Elsbree Street. The campus is 1/2 mile on the right. Follow parking directions as above.

World Education

By public transportation:
Take the Red Line to South Station. Upon exiting the station, take Summer Street "east" (away from downtown). Take the first left, then the next right. You're now on Congress Street. Cross the Fort Point Channel. You'll see the Children's Museum and the "Milk Bottle" on your left. The second real street on your left is Farnsworth. Turn left on Farnsworth and go down to 44, the last building on the block. Come to the 7th floor reception desk.

Public transit option: At South Station, get on the Silver Line and go to the first stop, Courthouse Station. Take the stairs/escalator on the left to street level. Loop around behind the station house and head back in the direction of downtown. Farnsworth St. is about 100 feet ahead; our nine-story building is at the near end of Farnsworth.

By Bus, Commuter Rail, or Amtrak:
All these lines come into South Station. Follow the public transportation directions above.

By Car:
Parking Information: The several nearby parking lots cost between $11 and $17 per day. The closest location, a garage on Farnsworth, is the most expensive. A cheaper lot is found about three blocks further east on Congress Street. (If coming from downtown, turn left at the second light past Farnsworth.) Upon entering our building, come to the 7th floor reception desk. Do not park on Farnsworth Street or in the lots adjacent to our building; your car will be towed.

From the North:
Take the Expressway (I-93 South) to exit 23, "Purchase St./South Station". As you exit the tunnel, get in the left lane and proceed to the third stoplight (about 100 yards). Turn left onto Congress Street; get in one of the two right lanes. At the next intersection, continue straight on Congress. Cross the Fort Point Channel and take the second left onto Farnsworth. 44 is the last building on your left.

From the South:
Take the Expressway (I-93 North) (do not enter the new tunnel) to Exit 20, "I-90, Logan Airport, Worcester". The exit splits: stay to the right, following signs to "South Station via Frontage Road". Continue on Frontage Road. The road splits again: take the right exit marked "South Station, Downtown, Atlantic Avenue". At the end of the exit, go straight onto Atlantic Avenue; the bus terminal and South Station will be on your right. At the second light past South Station — just beyond the Federal Reserve Bank — turn right onto Congress St. Cross the Fort Point Channel and take the second left onto Farnsworth. 44 is the last building on your left.

From the West:
Take the Mass Pike (I-90) East to Exit 24A, marked "South Station". Follow the signs to "Atlantic Avenue". Proceed up Atlantic Ave.; the bus terminal and South Station will be on your right. At the second light past South Station — just beyond the Federal Reserve Bank — turn right onto Congress St. Cross the Fort Point Channel amd take the second left onto Farnsworth. 44 is the last building on your left.

From Logan Airport and Ted Williams Tunnel:
Once in the Ted Williams Tunnel, take Exit 25/24, marked "93 North and South Boston". This exit is a two-part exit: Exit 24, marked "93 North" on the left and Exit 25, marked "South Boston/Congress Street" on the right. Stay to the right and take Exit 25. Move immediately into the left lane. At the top of the ramp is a set of lights. Turn left at the lights onto Congress Street; at the third set of lights, turn right onto Boston Wharf Rd. and park either on the street or in the lot. Walk back to Congress St., turn right and walk down to Farnsworth St., the third street on your right. 44 is the last building on your left.
