This offering is a facilitated regional sharing and learning group for new and experienced advisors. Agenda topics are selected based on the interests and needs of attendees and emerging issues in the field. The June meeting will focus on FY 2019 planning for outcome driven results and strategies working with students on the next steps.
- Both new and experienced advisors. Instructors who play a role in education and career planning are also welcome to attend to share and learn about best practices and resources.

Topic: FY 19 Planning for Outcome Driven Results
During this meeting we will discuss strategies to work with students on next steps, whether for college, training or earning better jobs. We will explore how to alter the student mindset from focusing on earning a GED/HiSET or learning English to considering their future career to gain stability.
