Description

Transferring in-person listening lessons to the online environment is one of the smoothest transitions teachers can make in their ESOL instruction. In this session, teachers learn how to provide learners with active online listening practice, transfer effective listening tasks from the in-person classroom to online ones, and use Zoom features to enhance a variety of fun and engaging activities. Presenters demonstrate and provide opportunities for participants to experience a virtual listening lesson on Zoom. A Google folder with listening resources is linked to the session.
