Overview

This offering is a facilitated regional sharing and learning group for new and experienced advisors. Agenda topics are based on the interests and needs of attendees and emerging issues in the field, and they are posted one month prior to each meeting.

    Audience

    This professional development activity/course is designed for:

  • Both new and experienced advisors. Instructors who play a role in education and career planning are also welcome to attend to share and learn about best practices and resources.
Description

The main agenda topic will be centered on using collaboration and group advising as effective strategies for overcoming the challenges of advising large caseloads of students in a limited amount of time. If you have any materials, advising lessons, or group activities you wish to share, please bring those materials with you to the meeting.
