Page 10: How can SABES help you?

SABES has already started working with teachers from each region to design a license-support system for license-seekers. This system provides lots of flexibility, collaboration, and peer support in a non-competitive, non-judgmental atmosphere. Take a look at "Margaret's Excellent Adventurer" below to get an overview of the SABES's proposed approach to the ABE license process. And don't hesitate to contact SABES for help!

Marge decided to go for the license! She sent an Application Packet into DOE... ...and learned what she had to do.

She started off alone. Then SABES connected her with other teachers. They made learning goals and plans... ...and worked on common tasks.

Sometimes she worked alone... ...and sometimes with her group--checking in, and sharing... ...with SABES continually connecting them to resources.

Marge kept collecting evidence for her port-folio, until she was ready... ..to submit it to the Review Panel. They loved her work!
