This offering is a facilitated regional sharing and learning group for new and experienced advisors. Agenda topics are based on the interests and needs of attendees and emerging issues in the field, and they are posted one month prior to each meeting.
This professional development activity/course is designed for:
- Both new and experienced advisors. Instructors who play a role in education and career planning are also welcome to attend to share and learn about best practices and resources.
The topic for this meeting is a Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) benefits overview. The meeting will take place at the DTA Office at Newmarket Square, 1010 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston. There will be an overview of transitional assistance benefits and eligibility. We will also discuss how to refer and support ABE students receiving DTA benefits.
