This professional development activity/course is designed for:
Digital Literacy Sharing Group meetings are open to anyone who is interested in digital literacy and technology integration, regardless of title or role. In each meeting we will address a different topic that is relevant to your work at the moment and what’s happening in your program.
The topic for our March meeting is Digital Literacy Advocacy in Your Program. In this first meeting of the year, we will get to know one another, explore the applicability of different digital literacy initiatives in your programs, and brainstorm ways you can advocate for what you need in your classroom. Please come prepared to collaborate, ask questions, and share ideas and resources.
Beginning this year, all Digital Literacy Sharing Groups will include time for general discussion and updates, followed by breakout discussions organized by topic or program type. One breakout discussion per meeting will be reserved for those working in corrections programs.
Course Format & Requirements: To complete this course, you must attend the 1.5-hour session.
