In response to feedback from directors following our FY19 regional Directors’ Sharing and Learning Groups, the SABES Program Support PD Center is continuing to host these sessions, which are designed to provide you with opportunities to meet, network, and share strategies with your director colleagues.
In addition to time for networking and sharing, we are pleased that Andy Nash will once again join us to discuss the new Educator Growth and Evaluation (EGE) model and this year’s plans for PD and program support. Our goal for this portion of the meeting is to help you determine if EGE is a good fit for your program and to consider options for how you might adapt it according to your local resources and needs.
- Novice and experienced program directors, coordinators, and other educational leaders who are interested in sharing and learning together
This professional development activity/course is designed for:
As we gather for the first of these FY20 sharing meetings, SABES Program Support PD Center Co-Director Luanne Teller will facilitate discussions so you can share ideas, strategies, challenges, and successes. We will also share our FY20 PD plan, respond to questions, and provide opportunities for you to discuss your program PD and support needs.
We are especially pleased that Andy Nash will be joining us to discuss new PD support that we are launching this year for the Educator Growth and Evaluation (EGE) model, which was developed in part based on feedback you provided at last year’s sessions. Andy brings extensive experience to this project, including her work on the national LINCS Teacher Effectiveness initiative.
Please join us for the first of these regularly scheduled meetings for mutual learning and support this year. As part of this meeting, we will discuss how we can customize topics for upcoming meetings according to your interests and needs.
