All educators who completed the Planning for Continuous Improvement (PCI) series in FY19 should attend the PCI Summit to complete the program.
The SABES Program Support PD Center will be offering the full PCI series in FY20, with location/s to be determined based on interest. If you have not yet attended PCI and are interested in attending the series in your part of the state or hosting it at your program, please contact Luanne_Teller@worlded.org. For full details about the PCI, please see last year’s calendar posting.

This professional development activity/course is designed for:
Last year, you completed the PCI process to convene and lead an inclusive planning team. You learned to effectively implement an ongoing, cyclical continuous improvement process that is informed by data, strengthening your instruction, learning, and student outcomes.
The PCI Summit provides the opportunity for you to come together with your PCI cohort colleagues to share your progress, challenges, and successes. We will also discuss how to plan next steps and provide feedback to your questions.
You will prepare and share a brief, 5—10 minutes presentation about your process, progress, successes, and challenges. As you consider how you will share with colleagues, we suggest you respond to the following questions:
- As a result of participating in PCI, what is different at your program and why?
- Looking back, what would you have done differently and why?
- What are your most meaningful lessons learned?
- What are your next steps? How will you sustain this process?
Note: To help with our planning, please have all members of the PCI team at your program register individually.
- Explain the impact of participating in the PCI series on your program, staff, and learners
- Describe at least one success and one ongoing challenge
- Identify specific steps for sustaining and integrating the PCI process in your program
