As we continue to adapt together, the Program Support PD Center team is modifying this year's Summer Directors' Institute in response to the need to meet and offer PD virtually.

This special one-day institute is intended to provide you with an opportunity to network, learn, and reflect on significant issues that you are currently dealing with in your program. 

This year's Summer Directors' Institute responds to feedback from the February/March online survey that many directors completed. In response to the overwhelming majority  (74%) of first and second choices, the Institute will focus on:

• To whom you are accountable and for what purposes, and how this should drive your program's vision and mission
• Effective, evidence-based strategies for recruitment, intake, and orientation and how they contribute to persistence
• Effective, evidence-based instructional strategies that promote learner persistence
• A focus on ways to implement these strategies virtually to support those who will continue remote or blended teaching and learning in the fall

In addition to the opportunity to network, our goal is to provide tangible tools and resources you will be able to use immediately in your program.
