Online learning provides an array of challenges and opportunities, and we want to ensure that all learners, including those with disabilities, can access all online content for optimal learning. The practices, considerations and approaches you learn about will benefit all learners, including those with disabilities. This session will include:
- Principles of universal design and their applications to online learning
- Application of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to online learning
- Resources for assistance and support
This is the first webinar in a series of three webinars on meeting the needs of students with disabilities in adult education, with a focus on online learning. This series is presented by the Institute for Community Inclusion at UMass Boston.
