Multilevel classes are a reality of just about every English language program and should not be considered a deterrent to learning. In this session, we explore a systematic approach to differentiating instruction in both online and in-person settings in order to provide an optimal learning environment for everyone. You will see how to vary content, instructional processes, and products or assessments of learning outcomes to ensure success for learners with varying backgrounds, levels, and needs. Examples are provided for English learners at beginning through advanced levels and participants will consider applications to their settings.
