Diagnostic assessments of reading are essential to inform instruction and for appropriate class placement.
This workshop will cover how to conduct a remote diagnostic reading interview, including the background questionnaire and assessments of Word Reading, Oral Vocabulary, and Oral Reading Fluency. These remote assessment procedures and materials have been developed to match ABE learners’ varying amounts of technological access and familiarity, from learners with only cell phones to those with tablets or laptops and access to high speed internet.
Between September 15 and October 15, watch the recorded webinar and complete a brief knowledge check to solidify your learning and to receive 1 PD hour.
