Overview

Mental Health First Aid is a standardized 8-hour training course designed to give you key skills to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. Just as CPR training helps a layperson without medical training assist an individual experiencing a heart attack, Mental Health First Aid training helps a layperson assist someone experiencing a mental health crisis. In both situations, the goal is to help support an individual until appropriate professional help arrives.

PLEASE NOTE: All participants will be required to comply with the COVID protocols that will be put into place for this in-person session. Protocols may include wearing a mask for the duration of the training (with breaks). We will email participants with updated protocols, as we get closer to the session date.
