This offering is a facilitated regional sharing and learning group for new and experienced advisors. Agenda topics are selected based on the interests and needs of attendees and emerging issues in the field, and they are posted two weeks before the meeting.
This advisor sharing group meeting will be hosted by the Boston and Southeast regions. While this sharing group has been primarily for those in a specific region, now that all meetings are online, some meetings (like this one) are open to all.
- Both new and experienced advisors. Instructors who play a role in education and career planning are also welcome to attend to share and learn about best practices and resources

ABE and ESOL advisors statewide are welcome to join the combined Boston & Southeast Advisor Sharing group in a special evening meeting on Wednesday, March 15, from 6pm-7:30pm. Let us support each other by sharing resources, strategies, and successes.
The guest speaker is Angelina Hua from Housing Navigator MA, Inc. (HNMI), a nonprofit offering tools and information about affordable rental housing throughout Massachusetts. HNMI’s simplified, user-focused housing search tool provides up-to-date, verified listings with photos and information on bedroom mix, affordability, accessibility, and amenities. It also advertises open waitlists, lotteries, and immediately vacant units. In this info session, HNMI staff demo our search tool and hold a Q&A for service providers supporting young adults in housing search with a short conversation on the challenges and barriers that your clients face when looking for housing. This search tool can be used for adults of all ages.
