Join this workshop to learn about the variety of multiple Newsela online tools that can help you design meaningful learning experiences for both your in-person and remote learners. You’ll also have the opportunity to share with your colleagues about new ways to use Newsela and develop a plan for using it throughout the year.

In this workshop, you will have a chance to explore and save relevant Newsela content that will engage and connect learners to current events, ideas, and literature. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn, or relearn, how to use Newsela tools, such as annotations and quizzes, to support critical thinking and discussion in your class. Participants will collaborate and share Newsela use cases and experiences, and walk away with a plan for using Newsela with adult learners this year.
