This professional development activity/course is designed for:
The Center for Educational Assessment at UMass is developing the English Test for Adults (ETA) for NRS accountability purposes for adult English learners in Massachusetts. The ETA will measure reading, writing, speaking, and listening. In this 90-minute session, we would like to gain an understanding of the types of activities/tasks you use in your classroom. The goal of the session is to generate a repository of tasks/activities that are currently being used in classrooms across the state. The repository will then be used to generate tasks for the ETA that reflect the experiences students are having in the classroom.
This is a virtual session. Click here to join Zoom meeting or use the meeting ID (973 9106 4776) and passcode (eta) to join the Zoom meeting. The CEA would like to keep track of attendees, so please register for the session. If you have any questions, please contact Jenn Lewis at jlewi0@umass.edu.
