This professional development activity/course is designed for:
The Center for Educational Assessment at UMass is developing the English Test for Adults (ETA) for NRS accountability purposes for adult English learners in Massachusetts. The ETA will measure reading, writing, speaking, and listening. In this 90-minute session, we would like to gain an understanding of the types of activities/tasks you use in your classroom. The goal of the session is to generate a repository of tasks/activities that are currently being used in classrooms across the state. The repository will then be used to generate tasks for the ETA that reflect the experiences students are having in the classroom.
This is a virtual session. The Zoom link for the meeting will be emailed to you in the days prior to the meeting. The email will be sent from jlewi0@umass.edu (Jennifer Lewis). To ensure that you receive the Zoom invite in your inbox (and not your Spam folder), please add jlewi0@umass.edu to your contacts.
