According to the Indicators of Program Quality from ACLS, adult education programs, and advisors specifically, are tasked with “providing all students with accurate and up-to-date information and equal opportunities to explore and evaluate postsecondary education, training, and employment options.” MassEdCO resources and services can assist you with advising students on education and training options, as well as financial aid.
MassEdCO presenters will begin by explaining how you can partner with MassEdCO to support learners. Presenters will also share an overview of financial aid that will help you advise students with up-to-date and accurate information. Financial aid topics will include:
- How financial aid works and how to apply
- Types of financial aid
- The FAFSA application and updates
- Eligibility, immigration status, and financial support options
