Description

In this session, you will spend time exploring Newsela's MA ABE Custom Collection and learning ways to implement those resources to support literacy outcomes for adult learners in your program. You will customize resources to meet the needs of your learners with special attention paid to building background knowledge on diverse topics.

Format & Requirements: This course consists of one online synchronous session of 1.5 hours, with no additional required work.

Access & Support: You will receive instructions for accessing the synchronous session via Zoom from Lucy Burriss of the SABES Program Support Team one week prior to the session date. If you need technical assistance to access the course, please contact Lucy at lucy.burriss@jsi.org.
