Description

Join this session to analyze the key factors that influence Newsela's reading recommendations and better understand your students' learning needs. You will establish a practical data review routine that helps you monitor progress and target specific support for individual learners. Finally, you'll use built-in scaffolding and reteaching features to ensure all students access and succeed with rigorous academic material.

Format & Requirements: This course consists of one online synchronous session of 1.5 hours, with no additional required work.

Access & Support: You will receive instructions for accessing the synchronous session via Zoom from Lucy Burriss of the SABES Program Support Team one week prior to the session date. If you need technical assistance to access the course, please contact Lucy at lucy.burriss@jsi.org.
