In this workshop, you will use authentic materials to create your own career- contextualized ABE, ASE, or ESOL lesson that is aligned with College and Career Readiness Standards for Adult Education. You will also examine the curriculum development process with guidance from the presenter.
Participants will further develop their expertise and process around contextualized curriculum development, share resources with colleagues, and leave with a classroom ready career contextualized ABE, ASE, or ESOL lesson.
This workshop is for participants who have already attended the Career Focused Basic Skills Curriculum Development workshop offered in 2015 (February 23, March 26,27 or December 4, 7).

- Use a lesson template adapted from Understanding by Design to develop a contextualized lesson.
