Bio

Stacy Seward (she, her, hers pronouns) holds a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Psychology and Counseling from UNC Chapel Hill.  She has also earned a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Counselor Education and is an experienced clinician and instructor.  Stacy is a certified mediator and diversity professional (CDP) whose practice centers around the social and psychological dimensions of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I).  In 2018, Stacy was elected to the Lawrence School Committee and spent her time there advocating for educational and racial equity for LPS students.  She has consulted with clients such as Phillips Academy Andover to promote academic equity and access to students of color and has worked with LPS and presented workshops on trauma, returning citizens, and student leadership.  Stacy is a member of the Greater Lawrence Educational Justice Alliance is on the research and evaluation committee.

Jaminha Argueta

Bio

Jaminha Argueta is the education and career advisor at Asian American Civic Association (AACA)’s ESOL program. She educates students on job readiness by helping with resume building, job searching, and interview preparation. She also helps students explore their career options so they can enter in their preferred career path or job training program. 

Sonia Redko

Sonia Redko
Bio

Sonia Redko is an ESOL instructor and teacher trainer with over 10 years of experience teaching in international and domestic contexts. She has instructed a wide range of students from various backgrounds, including international business professionals, university students, adult immigrant workers, and fellow teachers. She has also worked as an English Language Fellow for the US State Department, with a teaching assignment in Jordan.

Sonia is currently a Senior Instructor at JVS, where she helps develop customized curriculum for academic and job skill training programs, and provides mentorship and training to the instructor team.
