KET FastForward® in Corrections

This webinar will explore the effective implementation of KET’s FastForward® online high school equivalency preparation program within adult education programs in correctional settings. Drawing on key insights from providers in both Kentucky and Massachusetts, you will gain a practical understanding of how this digital tool can expand educational access and support academic achievement for incarcerated learners. Presenters will examine the unique challenges and innovative solutions involved in delivering remote or computer-based instruction in secure facilities, while highlighting how FastForward® aligns with educational goals, such as measurable skill gains (MSGs) and reentry readiness.

The session will also address the technical infrastructure needed for successful adoption, including online security protocols and staff training. Participants will leave with a framework for justifying the integration of FastForward and building partnerships between correctional institutions and education providers. Whether you're an instructor, program coordinator, or corrections administrator, this session will offer you actionable insights for delivering high-quality, flexible online instruction behind the walls.
