This offering is a facilitated regional sharing and learning group for new and experienced advisors. Agenda topics are selected based on the interests and needs of attendees and emerging issues in the field, and they are posted two weeks before the meeting.

You are invited to join ABE and ESOL advisors from across the Western, MA region for a sharing and learning conversation at the NEW MassHire Springfield location. Our guest speaker for this meeting with be Maura Geary, Director of Services for the MassHire Hampden County Workforce Board. Maura hosted a Career Pathway Workforce training for the region in the fall and will be sharing highlights of the training, labor market data, and some of the tools developed through the Pioneer Valley Regional Workforce Plan as they pertain to ABE and ESOL advisors in the region. In addition, there will be open conversation with the purpose of sharing and learning from advisors in the field regarding a wide range of advising tasks and challenges. Participants are encouraged to bring program and event flyers, advising lessons and materials, and any other resources you’d like to share with the group.
