This professional development activity/course is designed for:
You are invited to join ABE and ESOL advisors from across the Western, MA region for our last sharing and learning conversation of the year ONLINE! First and foremost, advisors will have the opportunity to share successes and challenges of, and resources for, supporting students during this unprecedented time as it impacts our adult learners' access to education and advising resources. Additionally, as we prepare to close out the academic year, a topic of this meeting will be best practices in advising for ABE and ESOL students. Advisors will have the opportunity to brainstorm and talk through a wide range of topics guided by the Indicators of Effective Advising and Indicators of Program Quality tools. Participants are encouraged to share upcoming programming and event flyers/links, advising lessons and materials, and any other resources you’d like to share with the group. Please pre-register for this online meeting, as a link will be emailed to you prior to the start of the meeting.
