The TABE CLAS-E Reading and Writing Administration offering is the first step in the process to become certified to administer both TABE CLAS-E tests. This certification allows practitioners to score the CLAS-E Reading and the CLAS-E Writing multiple choice questions. It does NOT allow practitioners to score the CLAS-E Expository Writing test component. To become certified, an open-book test administration assessment must be completed within two weeks.
- ACLS funded practitioners who need to be trained as TABE CLAS-E test administrators for the Reading or Writing test. Those trained can also score the CLAS-E Reading test but not the CLAS-E Writing test. Novice Level.

To become certified to ADMINISTER AND SCORE the expository writing component of the CLAS-E Writing test, you MUST ATTEND this training AND the CLAS-E Writing Scoring offering (scheduled for 10/28/16), AND complete the scoring activity.
