Google Sites (Sites) is a free tool to create websites. Sites is an intuitive web development tool that allows you to use a ready-made template and add elements such as text, links, videos, images, quiz forms, and more. You can customize the appearance of the site with layouts, logos, and themes. No website development experience is necessary!
Programs use Sites to create organizational websites. Support staff use it to share PD resources, and teachers can make websites for their classes as a repository for learning resources or as a class website. Sites can be used to complement Google Classroom as well as other platforms and tools. How do you imagine you could use Sites?
This second session will build on the basics presented in the first session (see the Description section) and add more advanced features such as external web links with customized buttons, a Google Calendar, and a customized URL.
The facilitator will lead you through the step-by-step process of creating and enhancing your own website.
