Description

The first part of this group meeting is a presentation and discussion on supervision of volunteers. Program Director and Volunteer Coordinator Margaret Anderson of The Literacy Project in Greenfield, MA will share her thoughts on how volunteer supervision has evolved over her more than 20 years of varied experiences working with volunteers. We will focus on questions raised by the group regarding how to implement best practices for supervising volunteer tutors.

The last half hour of the group will be a time for those attending to brainstorm ideas about working with volunteers in the fall of 2021 due to the changing situation with COVID.
