Use the MassSTEP rebrand as an opportunity to assess, reset, and plan for the future. This session will ask you to view your program through the lens of continuous improvement to identify key points and opportunities. With a focus on developing the infrastructure required for a successful program, shared approaches and models will include: situating your program within an intentional career pathway, meeting student needs through MassSTEP regionalization, and meeting MassSTEP credential requirements for student success.

Take advantage of this MassSTEP rebranding moment to get back on board with the critical infrastructure needed to run a successful MassSTEP program. Revisit the parameters of integrated education and training (IET) and MassSTEP programs, evaluate your current program, or plan for future proposed programs. Key questions we will consider: Are your programs situated within a career pathway? Are you planning for measurable skill gains (MSG) with expanded student outcomes in mind? Are you clear on industry recognized credentials, where required? Are transitions working, and if not, why?
New strategies and approaches to consider: Co-enrollment, multilingual instruction, enhanced advising and support services, use of volunteers, pathways beyond entry-level positions, regionalization models, and opportunities for students with foreign degrees and credentials.
