The idea is to seamlessly integrate and contextualize academic skills, workforce preparation skills, and workforce training into curriculum that meets student needs. Some find that easier said than done. Join this session to learn what tools and approaches can best support your IET/MassSTEP work, including guidance around how a Single Set of Learning Objectives (SSLOs) can provide the guidance and structure you need for a robust and integrated curriculum.

Based on requests from current MassSTEP programs, this session will share tools and approaches for developing or improving a MassSTEP curriculum through the creation of a Single Set of Learning Objectives (SSLOs). SSLOs are not only a required part of IET / IELCE programming, but they can also hold the key to developing a successful curriculum. The approaches we will share will help MassSTEP programs integrate academic skill development alongside preparation for the workplace and occupational skill development.
In this interactive session, you will explore curriculum development tools and approaches, review and evaluate your existing objectives and apply new strategies and approaches to address areas for improvement in your current curriculum.
Note: We will be meeting via Zoom. Our project coordinator will send you information and the link for joining online a few days prior to the meeting.
- Define the key components for developing a Single Set of Learning Objectives (SSLOs)
