Description

Advisors in the world of Adult Education play a pivotal role in supporting the learners in their respective programs, set goals, address barriers to participation, connect to community resources, prepare for postsecondary education, training or the workforce. Nowadays, advisors are facing numerous challenges that hinder their ability to successfully navigate systems on behalf of their learners such as difficulty in accessing mental health services, affordable housing, and employment for undocumented learners.

During this in person sharing group, we will be holding an open conversation to discuss challenges, opportunities, available resources and self-care. We look forward to seeing you all!

Note: Jane Brandt (jane_brandt@worlded.org) will confirm your registration and send you the link to join the session several days prior to the event.
