We invite both new and experienced volunteer coordinators, as well as others involved in adult education programs who work with volunteers, to join this online facilitated sharing group meeting. This is an opportunity to connect with fellow volunteer coordinators, share resources and strategies, ask questions, and explore new ideas and practices to strengthen your volunteer program.

This professional development activity/course is designed for:
We will begin the meeting with a general check-in, followed by a discussion of successes and challenges related to training and recruitment. There will be time for small-group discussions throughout.
Discussions will address the following questions:
- How can you use communication and outreach strategies to effectively attract and retain volunteers?
- How can you use your training and resources to support volunteers as they advance in their work and take on more responsibility?
Please come prepared to collaborate, ask questions, and share ideas and resources.
Course Format: This sharing group meeting is online facilitated and held live on Zoom. You will also be enrolled in a companion course in Canvas, where you will have access to resources and notes from each meeting and a discussion board to continue the conversation.
Course Requirements: To complete this course, you must attend the entire 1.5-hour meeting.
