Digital Literacy Sharing and Learning Group meetings are open to anyone who is interested in digital literacy and technology integration, regardless of title or role. In each meeting, we address a different topic that is relevant to your work at the moment and what’s happening in your program. Each meeting will include time for general discussion and updates, followed by breakout discussions organized by topic or program type. 

The topic of this meeting is AI Literacy in Adult Education.

Everywhere you turn, people are discussing how artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming our world. That change has trickled down to our learners, but how programs choose to respond to that varies. In your program, are you teaching learners how to use generative AI tools, and if so, why and how? Do you feel ready to do this as staff? What learning resources are you using as this technology continues to become more ubiquitous? Join this peer-facilitated conversation to explore these questions with other digital literacy-minded adult educators, learn from one another, and take resources home with you.

Format & Requirements: Sharing and Learning Group meetings are held live via Zoom, with a companion discussion board and resource library in Canvas. We ask that you come prepared with resources and questions about the topic, but there is no required asynchronous work. We encourage you to attend as many meetings as you can, but attendance at all meetings is not required.
