This offering is a facilitated regional sharing and learning group for new and experienced advisors. Agenda topics are selected based on the interests and needs of attendees and emerging issues in the field, and they are posted one month prior to each meeting.

At the December meeting, we will have Anne Bureau to talk about the services that Worcester Family Resource Center (FRC) of YOU, Inc., offer to the greater Worcester area. Services include information about community resources, evidence-based parent education groups, mentoring, and other opportunities for children and families in need, as well as services specific to children who are having serious problems at home and at school, including runaways, truants, and sexually exploited children, known as Children Requiring Assistance (CRA).
The second half of the meeting will be discussion on the Effective Advisor, best practices when working with students with barriers to success.
