Since 1993, the Massachusetts Adult Literacy Hotline (Hotline), has connected adults with over 300 adult education programs that offer one-on-one, small-group, or classroom tutoring and instruction to adult learners. The Hotline provides access to information about reading, writing, math, English language, high school equivalency (HSE), transitions to college, vocational, and job training classes.
The Hotline also connects volunteers and programs, offers links to MassHire Career Centers and MA-licensed child care providers, and provides information and resources on MA HSE credentials. Flyers can be downloaded in 16 languages. In addition to the website, learners can access the toll-free Hotline call center (800-447-8844), with operators who can respond to callers in up to 200 different languages.
We want to ensure that your program's information is accurately represented in our database so we can provide learners looking for classes with the most current, up-to-date information. You are encouraged to confirm your program information by contacting Hotline manager Ruby Reyes at Ruby_Reyes@worlded.org.
