Kate Anderson has worked in the field of Adult Education in Massachusetts for the past 13 years. During that time, she has served in the role of Community Planner, Learn at Work Program Manager, Technology Coordinator, Career Pathways Instructor, Assistant Director of the Quinsigamond Community College Adult Learning Center, and currently works within the SABES ESOL Professional Development Center as the Instructional Designer. In this role, Kate works in collaboration with subject matter experts in the design, development, and implementation of professional development for teachers of ESOL across the state of Massachusetts in online, remote, self-paced, and blended modalities. Kate is a strong proponent of online/remote learning and as the Instructional Designer for the ESOL PD Center, has helped to grow the center's online and blended course library significantly in an effort to maximize accessibility of high-quality professional development to all teachers of ESOL within the state.
Kate holds a M.Ed. in Instructional Design with a concentration in adult and non-traditional learners, and recently completed her Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Leadership and Administration.
