This 90-minute session presents specific instructional strategies for teaching basic writing skills to struggling writers, particularly students with language-based learning disabilities, such as dyslexia.

This session is intended for educators who wish to help students cohesively string sentences together into various forms of paragraph-level written expression.

  • Begin to scaffold the process of written expression through targeted instruction
  • Begin to employ effective instructional strategies to help students with diagnosed learning disabilities build and develop their writing skills
