Universal Design for Learning Guidelines
The Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Guidelines are used to support the implementation of the UDL framework and to optimize teaching and learning for all people based on scientific insights and research into how humans learn best. The UDL Guidelines can be used by educators, curriculum developers, or program managers to increase accessibility, ADA compliance, and equity, regardless of needs or learning differences of the target population. It includes concrete examples of each instructional technique, a complete framework for implementing this learning model, a graphic organizer for lesson design, and access to the research it was based upon.
