This professional development activity/course is designed for:
Join the discussion with your colleagues in this one-hour, facilitated sharing group. The session will provide a space to collaborate, share resources, and discuss challenges specific to teaching English language arts in an adult education setting.
In this first session, the focus will be on setting you and your ELA students up for success all year long. Topics will include beginning-of-the-year assessments and establishing routines to help your classroom run more efficiently throughout the year. Facilitators will provide light structure and share their expertise. Come learn from your fellow ELA teachers and be inspired to start the year off strong!
Participants will receive 1 PD hour in LACES upon completion of this session.
