The aim of this document was to review what is known about adult numeracy (in many countries, not just the USA), to identify gaps in our knowledge and understanding about adult numeracy, draw out the implications for practice and make recommendations for further research. This report includes a vast number of topics related to adult numeracy as well as a bibliography with annotations, available as a searchable database.
