Marsha Chan
Marsha J. Chan, BA, MA, Stanford University, is known around the world as the Pronunciation Doctor at www.youtube.com/user/PronunciationDoctor. Whether teaching in person or remotely (something she has been doing for 35 years), Marsha enjoys engaging participants in active learning workshops. She employs relevant technology, simple objects, body parts, and humor to enhance interaction in spoken and written forms. Author of print and digital learning materials, as well as teacher educator, Marsha is the recipient of numerous awards from Mission College and from the National Institute for Staff and Organizational (NISOD), including awards in Teaching Excellence and Excellence in Publication and Presentation. She serves California TESOL as Web Manager, Coordinator of the Teaching of Pronunciation Interest Group, and Professional Development Coordinator.
