This resource includes a brief overview of the contributions of 11 famous African American mathematicians to mathematics and, more broadly, to STEM. Some mathematicians have a short video, while others have a summary reading.
For your math class, you could present one mathematician per day and ask students to research other mathematicians not included in this list. From their research, they can then present their findings to their classmates. This exercise would be a great way to incorporate digital literacy and anti-racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion (ADEI) while also noting the relevance of these discoveries to math.
