PDP sequence graphic for ESOL-Math PD

Did you know that participating in ESOL-themed math professional development can earn you professional development points (PDPs) towards state licensure?

The following SABES Math Center PD offerings can be bundled to meet the requirements of earning PDPs:

  • Getting Started with Integrating Math into the ESOL Classroom (REQUIRED)

  • Mathematize Your ESOL Health Unit

  • English Learners in the ABE Math Classroom

  • Mathematical Language Routines: Supporting English Learners

  • Getting Students to Talk in Math Class

  • Numeracy Routines That Develop Language

Individual and group coaching hours may also be applied to reach the 10-hour minimum for PDPs. See the information packet below for details.

NOTE: You will also be required to complete a final capstone project in the form of reflection questions to be eligible for the PDPs.
