Artificial intelligence has taken a great leap forward with the recent unveiling of ChatGPT, a powerful AI generator unlike anything we've seen to date.  The news is abuzz with articles about the "shadow side" of ChatGPT, which has become apparent to numerous journalists who were offered advanced access to probe more deeply into the potential applications and risks of this new technology tool. The education world is anxiously worrying about how this tool will now make it much easier for students to post a prompt to ChatGPT and use the response for their academic work.

Despite these very real concerns, there are myriad ways this tool can serve as a useful resource for educators.  In the February 23, 2023 blog, Jennifer Gonzalez brings attention to the innovative thinking and creative suggestions provided by educators Chris Mah and Sarah Levine in "How to Use ChatGPT as an Example Generator Machine."
