CALM Orientation

Full-day, in-person CALM Orientation for Spanish ABE instructors and directors in MA (facilitated in Spanish with all materials used throughout the day translated in Spanish). Arranged by request; see our May 6, 2022 section info page for more details.

This eight-hour online course is appropriate for new or veteran adult education math instructors. The instructional strategies and ideas presented in this course are appropriate for all levels of math classes, as well as native English-speaking and ESOL learners. The material is also designed to identify ways to make math instruction more equitable and culturally responsive for diverse student populations and communities.
