The SABES ELA team is pleased to share teaching resources for Black History Month. Black History Month is celebrated each February to acknowledge the significant contributions of African Americans throughout U.S. history. A theme is announced annually to guide our focus and reflection. This year’s theme is African Americans and Labor. This resource list includes free lesson guides and digital media (articles, photo archives, videos, etc.) that educators can use to plan and teach meaningful Black history-themed ELA and social studies lessons throughout the year.
