Introduction to the Video Series: Remote ELA Instructional Practices

Find inspiration and examples for teaching remotely in this series of videos co-produced by the SABES English Language Arts and Literacy (ELA) and Communications PD Centers. In addition to examples of remote ELA instruction, these videos provide examples of classes that are aligned with the MA Professional Standards for Teachers of Adult Basic Education, using the ELA Proficiency Guide for Teachers of Adult Basic Education.

The classes are at a high school level (GLE 8-12); the instructional practices are applicable to all levels. These videos depict a range of practice to support activities that promote a shared understanding of instructional quality. Select the video(s) that best meet your needs.
