The Volunteer Coordinators Sharing Group is an opportunity to meet with other staff who work with volunteers to network, share resources and strategies, ask questions, and learn from and with one another.
As we settle back into the swing of the school year—and as many newly funded programs get their first classes underway—volunteer coordinators are hard at work matching, training, leading, and so much more. This meeting is meant to offer a space to share your challenges, ideas, and strategies for back to school and beyond. Please bring your thoughts and questions to share!
- Staff in any role who support volunteers
- Staff with any level of experience in this area
This professional development activity/course is designed for:
Volunteer Coordinators Sharing Group meetings are held quarterly: in FY24, meetings will be held in October, December, February, and May. In each meeting, we address topics that are relevant to your work at the moment and what’s happening in your program. There are questions but no formal agenda. Please bring your burning questions, your hot topics, and your shining successes to share with the group!
This meeting is statewide, and anyone who works with volunteers is welcome to attend regardless of title.
The sessions are facilitated by PSPDC Director Alexandra Papagno; guests are occasionally invited to discuss specific issues or resources.
Several days before the event, Jane Brandt at jane_brandt@worlded.org will send you an email with the Zoom link.
If you can’t attend this session, we will be offering Volunteer Coordinators Sharing Group meetings again this year in December, February, and May.
